When I look at my son I see limitless opportunities. I see a pure soul free from all evil. I see a lifetime of happiness. I see everything I have ever wanted and so much more! I am one blessed mama!

Let the hazing begin!
So today marks my first day as a Stay at home mom (SAHM)! I am just positive that Jude is thrilled to have me home more (or at least I keep telling myself that!!) Although he did do a bit of hazing today to see if I am cut out for the job :)
First, we went to the grocery store and the little dude forgot his pacifier at home!! I mean come on! What baby forgets that??? ;) Needless to say, it was not a pleasant trip! And I probably looked like an idiot trying to distract my child to keep him from crying! O well :)
Second, I got puked on! And don't get me wrong, this is actually an every day occurance, but today I got PUKED on! Like, the little levy in his throat broke and the puke just kept comin'! Ok, so maybe I am exaggerating a little, but it was alot!
Everything else went pretty smoothly and I am thrilled to death of the situation we have going on! I am actually going to watch a little girl Jude's age here a few days a week so he will have a little playmate! It think that will be really nice once they are a little older so they learn to interact with other children! So any mama friends of mine that wanna come over and play, we would love to have ya!!
So blessed, so very blessed :)

3 Months of Love
When people would tell me how fast my baby will grow, and to cherish every moment, I didn't really realize how right they were. It has been 3 months since this tiny man came into my life, changed me, our home, our family, my entire world. I can't say that every day has been a cake walk, but most days have been pretty darn sweet! It has all happened in the blink of an eye though! I really can't believe how fast it does go by! So Jude is pretty much a genius baby if you ask me and his daddy! (I know everyone says that about their baby, but I think its true!)
We don't go back to the doctor for a few more weeks, but if I had to guess I would say he is around a whopping 14-15 lbs! He has these sweet rolly polly thighs that I just love to squeeze! Dimples galore! On the elbows, cheeks, and booty! And rolls on the wrists to boot! I love it :)
Judah is talking up a storm! He just babbles and babbles and loves it when you talk back to him! He is one smiley baby and just cheeses it up to anyone that will show him attention! Speaking of attention, he thinks it is down right rude when he isn't getting any!
He is still pretty mild mannered and calm, but does occasionally get fussy (thank you Gripe Water!!!) especially if he gets over tired. The start of the 3rd month was a little rough in our house. Jude went from sleeping in our room to his crib. Which means he went from sleeping, to not sleeping. It was quite an adjustment, but with some experimenting and tweaking of bedtimes we finally have somewhat of a groove going! He usually goes to bed somewhere between 8 and 9 and then on a great night sleeps until 6ish then goes back to sleep till around 8! On a not so great night he wakes up at 3 ish and then sometimes at 5ish then back to sleep till around 8. Not terrible, but I much prefer the great nights :)
I went back to work last week which has been a little bit of an adjustment for all of us. It was, and still is, pretty hard for me to leave this little guy. I am hanging in there though. It helps that we love who we hired to take care of him! She comes to our house and brings her little guy, so Jude has his first official friend :) The first day was a little rough bc he refused to eat, but has gotten much better! I started sleeping with a blanket and a burp cloth of his so he can still smell me when I am away and that has seemed to help a little too!
Jude has been rolling from his tummy to his back for a couple of weeks now, and sooooo close to rolling from back to tummy! I bet if we practice he will do it today! He has some STRONG legs! He loves to stand (with assistance) and see everything from a different view!
He has been sitting in his bumbo for little bits for a few weeks now also!
He has also been sitting up on his own propped with a little help from a pillow!
He is interested in everything going on around him and sometimes gets distracted when he is supposed to be eating! If the tv is on, he will wiggle around or turn his head as far as he can to watch it (which drives me crazy!). I am doomed I guess. All of the boys in my house are tv lovers, and sports lovers at that. I think I need a woman zone where no sports are allowed, either that or a daughter!!
Back to Jude!
*He loves his baby einstine activity mat and will just look at his best friend the octopus for the longest time. He smiles and laughs and has the greatest time under there!
*He much prefers you to pat his back than rub it
*He smiles all day long, until you bust out your camera, then the smiles are gone:(
*He is very tickelish
*He is a champ at holding his head up
*He is pooping regularly again (Thank God!)
*He is a slobber machiene and chews on his fists non stop so I am pretty sure it's the start of teething
*He does this precious thing when he is really sleepy, where he runs his fingers through all of that hair of his and then gets a handful and just holds on to his hair when he falls asleep! It must comfort him, but it melts my heart like nothing ever has :)
He is such a joy and I cant describe how much love he brings to our lives! We are so lucky to have such an amazing son! He just had his 3 month pics taken so stay tunned for the cuteness!
