So Riley 13 this month! We have a teen and a tot in the house! Talk about extremes! Sometimes it is hard to juggle and meet everyone's needs, but we are so thankful for both our boys! We had a birthday dinner at our house with the family and then Riley had a party with friends a couple of weeks later. He was surprised with the chicken limo to escort him and his friends to go laser tagging! He had a great time! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RILEY! We love you!

8 Whole Months!
So I am a bit behind in this post (considering baby boy turns 9 months tomorrow) but o well! Month eight has been a wild ride with amazing days and pretty pitiful days...
teeth- still just two bottom teeth. I am thinking the top are gonna come in soon because he has been pretty cranky lately and slobbering up a storm!
personaliy- Jude is typically a happy smiley baby, BUT, when he is in a bad mood it's a BBAADDD one. He is at a stage where he really wants to interact with you. He plays peek a boo, yells for your attention, grabs for who he wants, and goes after what he wants. He is just too funny and has a laugh that will make your day! He has a littl bit of seperation anxiey when he is away from me and gets SUPER excited when daddy comes home from work every day! It is so adorable. He loves his daddy that is for sure, but I would have to say he is quite the mama's boy when it comes down to it. He still goes to pretty much anyone and usually gives some sweet hugs while being held! My darling boy gives the best hugs ever, and the kisses are pretty great too!!
fine motor skill- he has mastered the neat pincer grasp. If there is any little thing on the carpet this kid will find it and in to the mouth it goes. He loves to pick up his puffs and othere little bites of food. He can open little doors on toys and play more efficiently with them!
gross motor- We are now officially crawling, but still scoots when feeling lazy. He will pull himself up on just about everything. And then he lets go. And when he falls there is usually a meltdown to follow. Poor baby :) He is also walking with the assistance of his walker toy. I am thinking walking alone wont be to much further away but we shall see.
I am looking forward to the next few months! Jude is so much fun and such a little ham! I just love him! Here are some pics from the last month!
Jude is learning things every single day and it makes me such a proud mama! love that little boy to pieces :) Here's the breakdown:
sleep- still pretty consistantly going to sleep @6:15 ish and sleeps till 3am to eat and then back to sleep until around 6. I have tried keeping him up later, but he makes it very clear that he is ready for bed! Every once and a while he sleeps through the night, which is awesome. to those parents who have babies that always sleep through the night, I am envious! BUT, love my little sweets anyway!
food- this kid loves to eat food! Still nursing also, which is going great! Jude loves to pick up his own food and feed himself! He tries to take the spoon also, but still working on that one! he really loves puffs, yogurt melts, apples, carrots, peas. He will really eat anything, except diced avocado. Not a fan. Mash it up and he's all about it though! We are going to start experimenting with eggs and meat soon so that should be fun!!teeth- still just two bottom teeth.
