I am still feeling pretty good! My back is starting to hurt more and more and I'm feeling a little crowded. This little guy moves around ALL the time! It is crazy to see him moving in my tummy! I can't wait to meet my little man! I know my heart is going to melt the minute I lay my eyes on him!!
We start our childbirth classes tomorrow and I am excited to learn all sorts of new things!!

St. Pattys Party!

My mother in law has a St. Patricks Day party every year the weekend before the big day and it's always such a blast! So after Meg's shower I hopped back in the car and drove from South Bend to Chicago to meet my hubby for the party! I love the people we get to see every year and it was fun being prego this year and talking baby with everyone! My favs also came to the party so that was a plus!
Mom makes a big batch of corned beef and cabbage every year which is super yummy! I love taking leftovers home for rubens!! YUM YUMM!! What a fun time!!

Baby Glaub!

One of my best friends from high school/ college, Megan, is also prego and is having a boy as well! She is also due about 6 weeks before me!  I am loving all these babes already! Can't wait to meet and see this little guy! His parents are gorgeous so he will be a looker I am sure! Megan is just the cutest little prego I have ever seen and I had such a wonderful time seeing her and some other great friends and their little ladies at Megan's shower on Sat! She had a little monster theme and it was adorable! We missed our good friend Jamie because her due date is today actually and wasn't up to making the drive to South Bend. (come on baby N!!!! We want to see you already!!)

Me, Meg, Lindsay and Maylin, and Erin and Elise! Love these girls!
Thanks for having me Megan! Love you and can't wait to meet little COG!!

My shower is in 2 weeks and I am getting so pumped!!

A shower for Little Miss Mansavage!

One of my best friends Erica is due about 6 weeks before me. She is having a little girl and I CAN'T wait to meet her! Her friend Lesli and I put on a shower for her last weekend and it was such a great time! She and her husband moved to Chicago a little less than a year ago, so it is so nice when we get to see them! We are so lucky to have been pregnant at the same time (if only you guys still lived in Indy!!) and I can't wait for our kids to grow up together and be great friends!
Anyway we had a great spread of food and she got all sorts of fun prizes! She is such a beautiful mommy to be!

Leave some advise for the parents to be!

Whoooo Knew?!?!

So we are doing the baby's room in an owl theme, but for some reason it is so much harder to find baby boy appropriate owls than girly owls... no fair! I was shopping at homegoods the other week and I found the cutest little hanging owls, but all in pink. So I asked someone if they came in the boy colors, but unfortunatly they did not. The owls were kind of banged up and one was missing the ribbon to hang it so I decided I would buy them and try to revive them as boy owls. While I was checking out I asked for a discount since they were a little banged up and they gave me 15% off! Woohoo! I love discounts! I stopped at a craft store and got some boy themed scrapbook paper to cover them and did a little painting and wallah....
Girl owls....

are now boy owls!
What do you think??

I'm Growing!

26 weeks!

26 weeks

28 weeks!
Hello 3rd trimester!! I CAN'T believe that I am halfway through my 28th week already! May is going to be here so soon! I am so excited and so nervous at the same time. We start our baby classes next week and I am looking forward to them! We got a crib (big thanks to my sis) and started the nursery! We are doing an owl theme and I am loving it! Pics to come soon! My pregnancy is still going really great! I am feeling good, but starting to feel pretty invaded. I can't see my toes or bend over very well anymore! Which is only going to get worse I know!

My prego friend's due dates are coming up soon and I can't wait to meet their little babies! First up is Jamie, then Megan, then Erica, then ME! AHHHHHH! I can't believe it! SO EXCITING!

Babies -R- Nuts!

So while my mom and sis were in town we went to register at babies r us for our baby stuff and man is that place NUTS! (Especially. On. Saturday.) They make you sit through a 20 min schpeal about everything and then let you loose with the scanner gun! Which was pretty fun to use! I was so thankful to have their opinions and advice on what was needed and not really needed in the baby department! I feel like I have so much to learn, but I think we did a pretty good job picking out the stuff we need!

Thanks again for your help mom and Miranda! xoxo

Tea for Three!

So my mom's birthday is in early Feb, and I couldn't make it home to do something special on the actual day so we decided to dedicate a whole weekend to my MOM and celebrating her 60th birthday! I have to say she is amazing and my sister and I have to much to be thankful for because of her! So a few weekends after her actual birthday she and my sister came to Indy (sans kids) for a little girls weekend! We had wonderful weather and headed into the cute town of Zionsville to take my mom for a tea party (which was a surprise!!)

The cafe was such a quaint and cute little place. Upon arrival they greeted us with pomegranite spritzers! Then we took our time and enjoyed 3 different types of tea! All of the teapots/ tea cups are different which we thought was really neat! While we sipped on tea they started us off with fresh fruit with whipped cream then they brought out a platter of a variety of tiny sandwiches, scones, chocolate covered strawberries and a variety of different cakes/cheesecakes! It was delicious and so nice to sit and relax and chat about life for a few hours with two of my favorite people in the world!

After tea we finished walking around the Zionsville shops and then went shopping at Homegoods, Target, and Clay Terrace. We finished up the evening having dinner at Mitchells Fish Market! It was so yummy!

The next day we did some more shopping and had a delicious lunch at the Cheesecake Factory! YUM! I love my mom and sis and I am so lucky to have them in my life!! Thanks for coming to Indy guys! I had a blast!
