January/ Februray Happenings...

So January seemed to FLY by. We spent the first half of the month going through and packing up all of our stuff for our big move. We had movers, but moving day was still stressful to me. We had gotten several inches of snow the days leading up to the big move and it made things that much harder. Also, one of the movers seemed like he was having health problems and I felt bad for him. But all of our stuff was on their truck, so they kinda had to keep moving and get it done. It ended up taking over 5 hours, which was way longer than I expected it to take. BUT, it is done and we are all moved in to the new place. We really like it and have most things unpacked and set up! Now to tackel the nursery!

Riley turned 12! It's hard to believe that we are going to have a 12 year old and an infant in a few short months! We actually got a bad ice storm and Ry's school was canceled on his birthday so he got to stay home. That evening we went over to his mom's and we had his choice of Greeks Pizza and cake and ice cream! Can't believe how fast this kid is growing up! He got lots of very nice gifts from our families! (thank's everyone, he is spoiled!) Then Ry and Doug played hours of Madden on x-box and I went to bed!

Speaking of the ice storm we were all stuck at home for several days. I have never seen so much ice in my life, and it is still lingering around the city. It is just covered in snow now. Needless to say, I am sooo ready for spring!

The 4 year anniversary of my dad's passing was this past week. It is always a very hard time for me, but I think being pregnant this year made it extra hard. It is just so sad that he will not be a part of my baby's live. It makes me very sad (the pregnancy hormones don't help) but with the support and love of my friends and family I get through it. I know we are lucky to have the wonderful people that we do in our lives. I just wish he was still here.

I am lucky to be pregnant with several of my good friends (too bad I don't live in the same city as any of them). This weekend was Jamie's baby shower. Jamie and I have been best of friends since highschool so I really wanted to be there. I was really looking forward to seeing all of my other great gal-pals from high school. It snowed 4 inches over the night so when I woke up to leave Sat morning it was a vision of white... AWESOME. It ended up taking me over 4 hours to get home (which usually takes me 2.5 hrs at the most). It was so worth it to see everyone though! I forgot to get a big group pic, but here's a shot of Jamie, Megan, and I. Due in March, April, and May!
Megan's shower is next and I can't wait for that as well!! Jamie is having a girl and Meg and I are both having boys! Another one of my besties, Erica, is also due in April and her shower is coming up too! I love all these babies coming into the world!!

Speaking of babies, here are a few new pics of the belly. It's getting pretty big! I am loving all of the kicks and punches (for now)! It's crazy to think that he will be done cooking in less than 4 months! I can't wait to see his cute little face :)

Woah, better retire that shirt!

24 weeks!!
Tonight we are just stting around watching the superbowl ( I have family in PA) so GO STEELERS!
